Venice 38+1

In the summer of 2016, the performance artist Lisa Cieslik was invited to Venice by the Emily Harvey Foundation for a period of 38 days. Every day during her stay, she created a mask from shredded paper wrappings collected from the streets of Venice, and at the end staged a live performance.

In the film by Joachim Richter, Lisa Cieslik describes her experience in Venice. The film follows the preparation and creation of the masks, as well as her live performance of "Trash Dress" which took place near the Rialto Bridge on August 17th, 2016.
